The Clinical Psychological Service in Hong Kong is dedicated to promoting Low Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (LICBT) to assist individuals with emotional distress, such as depression and anxiety, who lack access to mental health services. This initiative follows NICE guidelines to ensure quality through structured supervision, and collaborates with the Department of Psychology at the Chinese University of Hong Kong to localize evidence-based protocols and assess treatment effectiveness. Additionally, the service aims to provide professional training to establish more local LICBT teams to broaden service accessibility.
